Patricia L. DeVore, 76

PHOENIX, NY – Patricia  L. DeVore, 76, former Phoenix resident, passed away at Morningstar Care Center, Oswego, on Saturday February 27, 2016.

She was born to her late parents, Doris M. (VanEpps) and Earl H. DeVore, on October 12, 1939.

She was a member of the first  graduating class, 1957, of the new John C. Birdlebough High School located on the north end of Main Street in the village of Phoenix.

Pat was a school bus aide as well as a teaching assistant in the Phoenix
Central School District.

She the became a bank teller at the Phoenix Branch of the Fulton Savings Bank in the Three Rivers Plaza.

Her interests and hobbies included planting and caring for flowers, other gardening as well.

She also enjoyed baking, especially cakes, and taking care of her family.

Pat was a member of Word of Life Assembly of God Church, Baldwinsville.

Patricia was predeceased by her brother, James and his wife, Judy DeVore.

Surviving are her children, Russell  E. DeVore of Pennellville, Kelly J.
DeVore of Pennellville and Valerie M. Roy and son-in-law, Rob Roy of
Oswego; seven grandchildren, Mikhael, Brad, Jaclyn, Caleb, Donovan,
Abby and Madeline; four siblings, Timothy DeVore of Pennellville, Kenneth “Joe” DeVore of Arizona,  Randy DeVore of Florida and Kimberly DeVore of Arizona; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Allanson-
Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.

The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home, with Senior Pastor Randy Czyz officiating.
