OSWEGO, NY – Patrick W. (Trigger) DeAmbra, 75, passed away Friday August 3, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Patrick and Agnes (Gallagher) DeAmbra.
Patrick retired from The New York Power Authority.
He enjoyed golf and travel.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
His memberships included American Legion Post 268, life member of Oswego Elks Lodge 271 and V.F.W. Post 5885.
Surviving are his wife, Dee Anne (Patton) DeAmbra of Oswego; one daughter, Kathy (Fred) Carter of New Jersey; one son, Robert (Victoria) DeAmbra of Brooklyn, NY; one stepdaughter, Alecia (Kyle) Costello of Oswego; one stepson, Scott Renski and Colleen of Parish NY; his step-mother, Norma DeAmbra of Oswego; two step sisters, Patti Jo (Paul) Teyman of Fairport, NY and Jennifer McLaughlin of Oswego; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Linda DeAmbra and Sally D’Amico.
Funeral services for family and friends will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
