
Robert P. Rose, 25, a resident of Beech Drive in the Town of Scriba, died Thursday of injuries suffered in a fire at his home.
Mr. Rose was born in Oswego, and was a life resident of the area.
For the past 7 years, he had been employed by Great Lakes Veneer in Oswego
He was an avid gamer, and loved playing with his PS-3.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah Butcher of Lycoming; his father, Albert Butcher of Watkins Glen; 2 sons, Robert L. Rose and Matthew Rose, both of Scriba; his fiancé, Tara Dana of Scriba; 4 brothers, Nathaniel Rose, William Butcher, Dakota Rose, and Ryan Butcher, all of Oswego; 3 sisters, Alicia Butcher, Karen Butcher, and Cheryl Durval, all of Oswego; 2 nephews, Anthony Rose, and Daniel Rose-Butcher; and a niece, Natalie Rose-Butcher.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 7:00pm, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
