OSWEGO, NY – Tessa M. Price, 90, a resident of Murray Street, Oswego, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Friday January 4, 2012, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Minetto, She was the daughter of the late Leon and Nina (Harding) Dumas.
She was a member of the Oswego Town Senior Citizens, Women’s Elks Auxiliary and the Church of the Resurrection.
She served on the board of the Ladies Home.
She enjoyed bowling and dancing.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly (Daniel) Pomeroy of Granby and Judy (Larry) Parkhurst of Scriba; three brothers, Fred (Emily) Dumas, Richard (Kathy) Dumas and Edward (Sandra) Dumas, all of Minetto; two sisters, Mary McCann of Oswego and Dawn (Sam) Hart of Minetto; five grandchildren, Eric (Nikki) Parkhurst, Amy (Chris) Cote, Krista (Mike) Spilberg, Ryan (Abbie) Parkhurst and Kelly (Dan) Rasmussen; great-grandchildren, Amber Canbek, Madison Parkhurst, Brandon Parkhurst and Christopher Cote, Noah Spilberg, Cameron Spilberg, Price Parkhurst; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Laurence Price; her siblings, Don Dumas, Lyle Dumas, Lois LaFore, Doris Godfrey, Barbara Hitchcock; and great-granddaughter, Emma Parkhurst.
Calling hours will be held 2-5 p.m. Monday with a service to follow at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Spring burial will be in Minetto Cemetery.
