OSWEGO, NY – Theresa E. Metz, 87 of Oswego passed away Saturday morning April 14, 2012, at St. Luke Health Services, Inc.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Phillip and Catherine Griggs Schaffer.
Mrs. Metz was the widow of the late Nelson H. Metz Jr.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
She is survived by three daughters Nancy Jean (Gino) Ratigliano of Balston Spa, Marjorie (Thomas) Ravesi of Oswego and Laurie (David) DeLuca of New Jersey; one son, Nelson H. Metz III of Oswego; one brother, George (Claire) Shaffer of Rochester; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Metz was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Jones.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
