Valery A. Taylor, 82

PHOENIX, NY – Valery  A. Taylor, 82, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away at her home on Tuesday May 28, 2013.

She was born to her late parents, Harriet M.(Trapp) and Leo H. Kelleher on March 29, 1931.

She was a graduate of Phoenix High School, class of 1949 and later a graduate of Canton College in 1951.

Valery was a fine homemaker and a military spouse.

She was a communicant of St. Stephen’s and Elizabeth Ann Seton Church parishes, Ladies
Auxiliary VFW Post 5540 Phoenix, the 49er’s Club, and loved dancing, traveling, winters in
Arizona, “happy hour” and to be surrounded by family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Robert Lee Taylor, in 1988.

Surviving are her companion of 19 years, Earl “Cactus Bob” Wallace; Val’s children and their spouses, Harriette Taylor,  Robert E. and Sandy Taylor, Ellen and Thomas DeSantis, Terrie and Tom Perkins, Stephanie Taylor, Lori and Troy Bigelow; Val’s grandchildren, Tommy and Gina, Robby, Jamie and Joe, Michael and Jennifer, Chrissy and Jon, Tracie, Kerry, Adam,
Alexis, Bernie, Joshua, Drew, Taylor and Leah; Val’s great-grandchildren, Alex, Brayden, Collin, Sebastian, Jason, Andrea, and Tyler; Bob’s family, Debbie and Bill Criss, Bobby and Sherry Wallace, Wendy and Randy Colopy, Mary Jo and Mike Taylor, Kim and Greg Ducharme; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.

A prayer service will be on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 469 Main St., Phoenix.

Burial in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St., Phoenix, following the mass.
