OSWEGO, NY – Vera K. Taylor, 94, a resident of Baldwinsville and a long-time resident of Oswego, passed away Saturday afternoon December 8, 2012, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
Mrs. Taylor was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Wallace and Isabel Syrell Kelly.
She was the widow of George Taylor, who died November 12, 2000.
She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Dawson of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Agnes Bristol and Margaret Farley both of Oswego; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Vera was also predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Jones; and four brothers, John Kelly, Edward Kelly, Charles Kelly and Raymond Kelly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 5 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
A calling hour will be 4-5 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
