OSWEGO, NY – William L. Lalande, 79 of Oswego passed away Thursday evening September 6, 2013, in Oswego Hospital.
He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late John and Marie McKeone Lalande.
Mr. Lalande served in the US Air Force Strategic Air Command.
He had been employed for many years at the Marathon Paper Company and at SUNY Oswego for 20 years.
Mr. Lalande graduated from St. Mary’s School and was a well know patron of Friendly’s Restaurant and Ponderosa.
He is survived by his sister, Jane Larock of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lalande was predeceased by four brothers, Thomas Lalande, James Lalande, Joseph Lalande and John Lalande; and two sisters, Marie Harrington and Emily Lalande.
Calling hours will be held Monday 11 a.m. to noon at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service to follow at noon.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
