FULTON – October 23, 2025, Ann F. Sherwood, 78; previously of Elmira, NY and currently of Oswego, NY passed Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Crouse Irving Hospital, Syracuse, NY after enduring Alzheimer’s for several years.
She was born in Elmira, NY to the late Nicholas DeLauro and Mary (Taka,) (Louis) Fadale. Mrs. Sherwood was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending Rummage Sales in hopes of finding the best and greatest deals.
Ann was pre-deceased by her siblings: Nicholas DeLauro and Victoria Shafer. She will be forever missed by her children: James (Michelle) Sherwood of Corning, NY, Walter (Amy Evanchik) Klumpe of Elmira, NY and Ashley (Gary Butler Jr.,) Payne of Oswego, NY; 10 grandchildren: Ryan, Austin, Taren, Alynne, Liam, Isabella, Jasiah (Kylie,) Victoria (Anthony,) Alexandria and Gary III; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no Calling Hours. Burial will be held privately.
