Betty J. Calabro, 87

FULTON, NY – Betty J. Calabro, 87, of Fulton, died peacefully at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego, on Friday October 18, 2013.

She was born to the late Peter Root and Alice (Parish Root) Hurlburt of Dexterville, NY.

She was a resident of Fulton for most of her life.

Mrs. Calabro was past employed with Lebro Real Estate, Fulton, and Kelly Services, Buffalo, NY.

She also co-owned and operated Hanlon Hots, Fulton.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and she especially loved camping with her family at Fair Haven, NY.

Mrs. Calabro was a past communicant of Holy Family St. Michael Parish.

She was predeceased by her husbands: Louis Luciano, Donald Hanlon and Henry Calabro; her son, Ricky Luciano; and stepfather, Clarence Hurlburt.

Mrs. Calabro is survived by four children: Louis (Charo) Luciano of Maryland and Florida, Patricia (Gary Flynn) Scaringi of Fulton, Elizabeth Hanlon of Florida and Donald Hanlon of Indiana; two sisters: Mildred Bullard and Jean Root both of Florida; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating.

Burial will be held privately.
