Betty J. Cianfarano, 86

FULTON, NY – Betty J. Cianfarano, 86, of South First Street, Fulton, passed away Saturday October 11, 2014, at Michaud Residential Health Services,
Fulton.

Mrs. Cianfarano was born in Oswego to the late Joseph and Mamie (Ahearn) Robinson.

She had been a resident of Fulton for most of her life.

Mrs. Cianfarano retired from Sealright Co., Fulton, in 1988, where she worked as a machine operator.

Mrs. Cianfarano was very proud of her Irish heritage and she was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the Syracuse Orange.

Betty also enjoyed her trips to the casino and playing Bingo.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dominic Cianfarano, in 1986; and her sister, Mary Robinson, in 1996.

Betty was a kind and gently women who loved living life and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed by those who love and survive her especially her two children: Kathleen (William) Smith and Ralph (Andrea) Cianfarano both of Fulton; seven grandchildren: Stephen Smith, Michael (Mary) Smith, William (Jennifer) Smith, Elizabeth (Dylan) Sorbello, Jacob Smith, Elyse Cianfarano and Katherine Cianfarano; three great-granddaughters: Olivia and Paige Smith and Margaret Sorbello; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Canorro.

Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
