OSWEGO – Bonnie Kaye Ketchum, 80, of Minetto died Tuesday February 4, 2026 in the Oswego Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late John and Annie (VonStettina) Horvath. Mrs. Ketchum retired in 2008 as the secretary for the Administration Department at SUNY Oswego. She has been a resident of Minetto for 44 years, where she was a member of the Minetto beautification committee, spreading beauty and joy to all who picnicked by the river or drove through Minetto. Mrs. Ketchum loved taking her dog for walks, and tending to her beautiful flower garden.
She is survived by her loving children Jennifer Santos of Kansas, Jeremy (Amy) Ketchum of Scriba, her beloved granddaughters Samantha, Alison, and great – grandchildren Elise and Max.
Mrs. Ketchum was predeceased by her sisters Elva Stark, Joan Villa, and Dianthia Bean.
In accordance with Mrs. Ketchum’s wishes there will be no services.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego.
