Concetta Baldassin, 87

FULTON, NY – Concetta Baldassin, 87, of Fulton, passed away peacefully Monday January 29, 2018, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Antonio and Anna (Apicella) Mamatto.

She lived for most of her life in Long Island, NY, and then retired to Florida for 10 years.

She settled in this area about 3 ½ years ago.

Mrs. Baldassin retired from the Accounts Receivable Department with Esselte Pendaflex, Garden City, NY, after several years of service.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and playing bingo.

Mrs. Baldassin was especially devoted to her family and her prayer time showing special devotion to Mary and the Rosary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Baldassin, in 2004; and her brother, Joseph Apicella.

Mrs. Baldassin is survived by her four children: Donna (Robert) Light of Dallas, Texas, Julie (John) Paine of South Lake, Texas, Paul (Jodi) Baldassin of Satellite Beach, Fla. and Carole (David) Webb of Fulton, NY; her sister, Christina D’Angelo of Plantation, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Florida at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be held in the Florida Memorial Gardens, Florida.

There will be no calling hours.
