David E. Bobbett

FULTON – February 26, 2025, David E. Bobbett, 66, of Fulton NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with his family by his side.

David was born in Auburn, NY on January 7, 1959. The son of the late Eugene and Christine Bobbett.  David worked at ToPs Friendly Market for 25 years where he made many lifelong friendships. After the closing of Tops he was employed with Oswego County Opportunities Transportation, Fulton.  The individuals he drove around truly loved him and he would smile ear to ear talking about them. David had the most distinctive contagious laugh; mainly laughing at his own jokes. David’s summers were spent at the Oswego Speedway in the stands or trap shooting and his winters were at the Dome watching Syracuse Basketball. Though, his favorite place was always Beach Island on Eagle Lake.  David valued friendship and family like nothing else.

David leaves behind his two brothers William (Jodie) Bobbett  of Summerville, SC; and John Bobbett of Fulton, NY; six nieces and nephews Ryan Bobbett, Daniel Bobbett, Kevin Bobbett, Brea Mammolito, Brenna Bobbett and Bryce Bobbett. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews and many friends.  Besides his loving parents,

David was predeceased by  Jack Bobbett and most recently his Uncle Carl Bobbett.

Calling Hours will be held Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2^nd St. S., Fulton followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 6:00 PM with Deacon Jeff Dean officiating.

Burial will be conducted privately at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Auburn, NY.
