David G. Clark

OSWEGO – David G. Clark, 71, of Oswego died Friday, January 5, 2024, in Albany Medical Center, after a brief illness.

David was born in Oswego, the son of the late James and Mildred (Stafford) Clark.

He was a beer salesman for many local beer companies, before going to work in the maintenance department for the Oswego School District and Centro Bus Company. He enjoyed bowling in the Oswego Bowling Leagues, and was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame. David was an avid Oswego Speedway race fan, and a NY Giants fan. He was a music buff listening to Jazz, the Blues, progressive music, and the Beatles, as well as researching their music and the artist. He was an amateur photographer with the shutter gang taking pictures of the light house and sunsets having some of his photos published online.

David is survived by the love of his life whom he was married to for 44 years Sally (Angelina) Clark of Oswego, his siblings Beverly Crego of Olean, Debbie (Art) Hough of Oswego, Colleen (Dave) Goewey of Oswego, Connie (Mike) LeBeouf of Oswego, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister Marlene Stone.

Services and burial will be private.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th St. Oswego, NY.
