OSWEGO – David W. Gorman, 85, of Oswego, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, peacefully at his home.
He was born in Oswego the son of the late William and Wanda (Kitney) Gorman. David retired from Alcan Aluminum as a supervisor after 33 years of service. David was an avid golfer, and his most enjoyment came from watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He was a Little League coach and was actively involved with the Buccaneer Boosters for many years.
David is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ann Marie Gorman of Oswego, and their children Carolyn Gorman of Ballston Spa; Brian (Lisa) Gorman of Katy, TX; Julie (Tim) DuFore of Oswego; and David Gorman of Oswego. He also leaves behind his 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his sisters Nancy Wheeler of TN, Mary Bowen of Elbridge, and Ann Mills of Scriba.
David was predeceased by his siblings, Jean Gorman, Barbara Ramos, and Ted Gorman.
In accordance with Mr. Gorman’s wishes, there will be no services.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego.
