FULTON, NY – Doris B. Matzke, 92, of Fulton, died Tuesday August 27, 2013, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, after a short illness.
She was born in Oswego, NY, to the late George and Mildred Baldwin.
She had been a life resident of Oswego County.
Mrs. Matzke was a former employee of Sealright Co., Fulton.
She was a life member of the American Iris Society and a member of the National Wildlife Federation.
Mrs. Matzke was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Matzke; and sister, Marjorie Mack.
She is survived by her son, Peter (Jeanne) Matzke of Fairport, NY; one sister, Betty Mangano of Minetto, NY; two grandchildren, Karen (Carlos) Gallegos and Michael Matzke; two great-grandchildren, Lena and Evan Gallegos.
Graveside services and burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on September 14 at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander, NY.
There will be no calling hours.
