FULTON, NY – Elizabeth J. Smith, 90, of Fulton, passed away Monday May 4, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
She was born in Oswego, NY, to the late Edward and Catherine (Meeker) Philo.
She has remained a lifetime resident of Fulton.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed being a mother and homemaker.
She loved collecting home interior items and she enjoyed shopping the sales.
Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her husband, George Smith Sr.; sons: Gary Whaley and George Smith Jr.; daughters: Heather Smith and Katherine Pritchard; brother: John Young; and son-in-law: Robert Potter.
Mrs. Smith is survived by five children: Michael (Christine) Philo of Florida, Karen Potter of Fulton, Linda (Michael) Jachimek of Oswego, Richard (Diane) Philo of Connecticut and Debbie Gustafson of Florida; son-in-law, Robert Pritchard of Hannibal; two siblings: Kay (Bruno) Cafolla of Fulton and Priscilla Marcino of Hawaii; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton.
Burial will be held at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be held 9 to 10 a.m. Monday in the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
