Bud was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. Whether coaching a softball team, lending a helping hand, sharing stories, or playing alongside his grandchildren and great – grandchildren, he created memories that will be cherished for generations. His patience, kindness, and unwavering presence made him a source of strength and comfort to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Bud is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 65 years, Carolyn Jean Johnson; and their children, Howard (Susan) Johnson, Rhonda (Mark) Williams, Chris Johnson, and Matthew (Traci) Johnson, all of Fulton, NY; his siters Elma Smith of Fulton, and Susan Todd of Florida; as well as many grandchildren, great – grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Alice Johnson, his siblings Carol and Elizabeth Stanford, JoAnne Priest, and David and Leslie Johnson.
Bud’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the countless lives he touched through his generosity, wisdom, and quit strength. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
