FULTON, NY – Henry J. Brown, 83, of Fulton, died on Tuesday May 7, 2013, at Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego, after a short illness.
He was born in Fulton to the late William and Mabel (Wood) Brown.
Mr. Brown was a lifetime resident of Fulton.
He retired from Syracuse University having worked in the Janitorial Department for several years.
Mr. Brown was predeceased by his brothers: Ottis, Francis, Claude and Melton Brown; and sisters: Eva Nettie Ritchie, Mildred Baldwin, Irene Everson and Gertrude Ellis.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews including William Ritchie of Fulton, Sandra Waloven of North Carolina and Linda McCann of Fulton; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral services.
Burial will be held privately at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be conducted 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
