FULTON – July 30, 2025, Higinio Feliciano, 87; of Fulton, NY passed peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY. Higinio was born in Puerto Rico to the late Geronimo Feliciano and Maria Dolores Maldonado. He worked in construction and in farming on a tobacco farm before moving to the United States. Mr. Feliciano has been a resident of Fulton, NY since 1991. Here, Higinio enjoyed gardening and tending to both his flowers and vegetables. He enjoyed being with his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Feliciano was known as “Papi” and loved by his family, friends and neighbors.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Josefina Feliciano in 2014, their son: Daniel Feliciano, 2 grandsons: Jose Feliciano and Benjamin Jimenez, his son-in-law: Heriberto Rivera and his siblings.
Mr. Feliciano is survived by his 4 children: Esmeralda Jimenez, Jose Javier Feliciano, Yesenia Feliciano and Dimayra Feliciano; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held 9:15 to 10:15 AM Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:15 AM in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY.
