Jane Meier, 92

FULTON, NY – Jane Meier, 92, of Fulton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday December 23, 2015, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Meier was born in Fulton, to the late Daniel and Mary (Cherniak) Lagodich.

Mrs. Meier was a resident of California for 25 years prior to moving to Fulton where she lived for most of her life until recently moving in with her daughter at her New Haven, NY, home.

Mrs. Meier owned and operated Crowning Glory, Fulton.

She was predeceased by her husband, John H. Meier; son, Daniel Meier; siblings: Ann Higgins, Jessie Lagodich, John Lagodich and Daniel Lagodich; and great-granddaughter, Kayla Morrell.

Mrs. Meier is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Joseph Mazzoli of Oswego, NY; son, John C. Meier of California; one brother, William Lagodich; five grandchildren: Chris Morrell of South Carolina, Danielle Morrell of California, Jessica Meier of California, Nicole Reynolds of California and Dustin Meier of Oregon; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Adnah Cemetery with Rev. Harold Avery officiating.

The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
