FULTON – June 14, 2024, Josephine Francesconi, 103; of Fulton, NY passed peacefully Friday, June 14th at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
Mrs. Francesconi was born in Fulton to the late Rosario and Angeline (Patane) Fichera. She remained a lifetime resident of Fulton, NY. Mrs. Francesconi was past employed with Sealright Co., Fulton; DK Manufacturing, Fulton and the National Airline Defense Corp. She was a past communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton. Josephine was a tireless volunteer for several years with Andrew Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton, A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Fulton and R.S.V.P., Oswego. She was pre-deceased by her husband: John Francesconi in 2001, her daughter: Marie Korta, and sister: Mary Castiglia. Mrs.
Francesconi is survived by her son: John Francesconi of Richmond, VA; her daughter: Lisa Francesconi of Oswego, her brother Sam Fichera of FL., 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held 8:30 to 9:30 AM Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Holy Trinity Parish, Fulton where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Scardella.
Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
