OSWEGO, NY – Kathleen “Kay” Mathews, 97, of Marcy, NY died Monday August 19, 2013, in Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Glenboro, Manitoba Canada, the daughter of the late Ernest and Maude Walley and had been a resident of Marcy for most of her life.
Mrs. Mathews was a retired teacher at Crane Hill School in Marcy.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Mathews, in 1986.
She is survived by her children Kathleen (Richard) Marrazzo of Barneveld, Laura (Lou) Angelina of Oswego and Marianne Mathews of Oxford; her brother, Ernest Walley of Birtle, Manitoba, Canada; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the family’s convenience.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
