FULTON – February 5, 2026, Leo “Chad” W. McCann, 62; of Fulton, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and several family members at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY; Thursday, February 5th, 2026.
He was born in Fulton, NY to the late Leo E. and Priscilla (Bennett) McCann. Chad remained a lifetime resident of the area. He owned and operated McCann’s Collision, Fulton, NY for many years. Chad loved anything with an engine and wheels and he especially liked motocross. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping and he looked forward to the yearly Halloween party. Chad was a member of the Martville Assembly of God, Martville, NY. He will be dearly missed by his family because he was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Chad is survived by his wife of 41 years: Cynthia McCann of Fulton, his 6 children: Autumn McCann, Corey McCann, Jessica McCann, Chad (Sarah) McCann, Christopher McCann and Casey (Robin) McCann; his 6 siblings: Ruth Seltzer, Heather (Larry) Nark, Mark (June) McCann, Holly McCann, April (Lee) Hadley and Amy McCann and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 5:00 PM Thursday at the Beacon Baptist Church, 4800 NY-31; Clay, NY 13041 with Pastor David Decker officiating.
There will be No Calling Hours. Burial will be held privately.
The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
