AUSTIN, TEXAS – Lorraine (Flack) Lamb, 66, of Adams Center, NY and more recent of Austin, Texas, passed away Thursday April 13, 2017.
Lorraine had been battling colorectal cancer for the past three years and was in hospice care.
She was born June 23, 1950, in Oswego, NY.
Lorraine was the second eldest daughter of the late Joseph Flack and Doris (Knopp) Flack of Oswego and Orwell, NY.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Mel Walrath, of Austin, Texas; daughter, Ashley (Andrew) Middlestate, of Austin, Texas; and son, Joseph Walrath of Austin, Texas; her mother, Dorris Flack, of Orwell; her sister, Pamela (Gary) Sheffield, of Orwell; her sister, Mary Quade, of North Syracuse; two nephews; four nieces; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
All with whom she loved dearly.
Lorraine was predeceased by her father, Joseph Flack; first husband, Tom Lamb; eldest son, Thomas Joseph Lamb; her eldest sister, JoAnne Murdoch; her niece, Shelley McQuaid.
Lorraine lived a beautiful life, filled with love, joy and happiness.
Her spunk will be missed terribly but will never be forgotten.
Her spirit will live within us and be beside us each path our lives take us.
Rest is peace dear angel as your love never dies.
Calling hours will be Tuesday May 2, from 10 a.m. – noon at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
A Catholic service will follow immediately after at noon with no burial.
Lorraine has asked for only bright colors to be worn in celebration of her life rather in mourn for her.
