FULTON – July 14, 2024, Lowell F. Shattuck, 85; of Fulton, NY passed peacefully at the University Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
He was born in Potsdam, NY to the late Gerald and Lila (Holmes) Shattuck. Mr. Shattuck remained a lifetime resident of Fulton, NY. Mr. Shattuck worked at Morrel Press as a Printer and later retired from Sealright Co., after 25 years, where he worked as a Machine Operator and Supervisor. Lowell was a “jack of all trades and master of none,” and he loved to clean and have everything neat and tidy. He also enjoyed being outdoors and was always finding something to fix or do especially on the weekend when he would clean and shine his car inside and out. Lowell was recently pre-deceased by his wife Christina Shattuck.
Mr. Shattuck is survived by his five children: Neil Shattuck, Debbie Shattuck, Terry Shattuck, Linda Shattuck, and Keith Shattuck; 3 stepchildren: Teresa (Jim) Anderson, James (Teri) MacDonald Jr., Cyndy MacDonald. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Christina (Jack) Schirtz, Jessica (Mike) Bartholomew, James (Amanda) MacDonald III, Krystal (Andy) Read, Nicolette LaClair and Michael LaClair and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held privately at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.
Burial with a Graveside Service will be conducted privately in Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal, NY.
