OSWEGO, NY – Margaret “Maggie” Kazlo, 73, of Oswego, died Tuesday October 29, 2013, in University Hospital, Syracuse.
Ms. Kazlo was born in Witherbee, NY, the daughter of Theresa Montagnola of Moriah, NY, and the late Joseph Kazlo.
She was a resident of Syracuse where she worked until her retirement as a claims adjuster for Granger Insurance, Syracuse, and later moved to Oswego in 2001.
Ms. Kazlo enjoyed volunteering at Oswego Hospital.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children: Gavin Goodbread of North Carolina and Dana Goodbread of New Mexico; siblings Helen Montagnola of Port Henry, NY, Catherine Kazlo of Hudson, NY, Joseph (Anne Marie) of Port Henry, NY, Martha Montagnola of Saranac Lake, Stephen (Becky) Montagnola of Oswego and Michelle Callaghan of Raybrook, NY; and one grandchild.
She was predeceased by one brother, John Kazlo.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately in Port Henry, NY.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
