FULTON – December 13, 2025, Margaret “Peggy” Coyne, 89; of Fulton, NY paced peacefully Saturday, December 13th, 2025; surrounded by her family at St. Luke Health Service, Oswego after a short illness. Peggy was born in Fulton, NY to the late William and G. Anna (Dwyer) Quinn. She remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. Mrs. Coyne was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, and an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 40 years: Roderick L. Coyne in 1997, her grandson: Isaac Laribee in 2018 and her siblings: William Quinn Jr., Jack Quinn, Joseph Quinn, Bernard Quinn and Kathleen Bush.
Mrs. Coyne is survived by her 8 children: Timothy (Virginia) Coyne of Fulton, Colleen (Donald) Laribee of Fulton, Jamie Coyne of Fulton, Christine (Eric) Weaver of Fulton, Eric (Karen) Coyne of FL, Cathleen Coyne of Fulton, Dennis (Philomena) Coyne of FL, and Karen (James) Halstead of Fulton. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Nicholas, Tara, Jared, Genna, Kennedie, Cameron, Craig, Cayla, Robert, Rachael, Samantha, Christopher, Daniel, Chase, Brooke and Quinn; great grandchildren: Bentley, Brody, Reese, Shamus, Tauren and Greyson and several nieces and nephews and her sidekick Nimbus.
Calling Hours will be held at 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM Thursday in the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Holy Trinity Parish, Fulton where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Scardella.
Burial will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, NY. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Holy Trinity Community Dinner program.
