Martin J. Leyva

FULTON – Martin J. Leyva, 40, of Fulton passed Saturday evening due to a sudden illness.

He was born to the late Alberto and Guadalupe (Bran) Leyva. Martin was born in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico. He had been a former resident of Fulton and just moved back in September from Texas.

Martin was a big sports fan especially for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time and playing video games with his son. Martin was also a great chef.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years: Cynthia Leyva of Fulton, their son Azzul Leyva of Fulton, 5 siblings: Beatriz Baez of AZ, Alberto (Ashley) Leyva of CO, Elias Leyva of TX, Cecilia Leyva of Fulton, Guadalupe Leyva of Fulton, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no Funeral Service at this time. Burial will be held privately. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
