Mary Carol Gordon

FULTON – September 5, 2026, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Carol Gordon, 91; of Fulton, NY; she passed peacefully at Oswego Hospital, on September 5th, 2026.

Carol as she was known, was born in Pearl River, NY to the late Marie and Edmund Kroenung. She was a resident of Hannibal, NY since 1974. Carol was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years Roy Gordon.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal, NY for many years. She was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and caring friend.  Carol retired from Black Clawson, and she had previously worked at Bergans in Fulton, NY. She was an avid golfer spending a lot of free time on the links. Roy and Carol were snowbirds for many years as Carol enjoyed the sunshine in Florida. She enjoyed spending her later years talking to her cousins in Rockland County but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her wonderful sons: Steve (Shari) Gordon and Jeffrey Gordon, her sister Kathy Kroenung, her niece Susan (Brian) Alguire, 6 grandchildren: Steven (Amy) Gordon, Alex (Nikki) Gordon, Valery (Nathan Coussou) Gordon, Vincent (Rachel) Gordon, Nicole (Cody Espaniola) Birdsell and Kristy (Miles Cowles) Ketcham and her 7 greatgrandchildren: Wesley, Mallory, Rachael, Kaelynn, Everly, Anthony and Mason.

Carol will be remembered for her giving heart, her love for life, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

She will be dearly missed and forever cherished by her family and friends.

In accordance with Carol’s wishes there will be no Calling Hours or Funeral Service.

Burial will be conducted privately.
