FULTON, NY – Mary Leotta, 95, of Fulton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday October 24, 2014, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego.
She was born in New York City, NY, to the late Guiseppi and Providenzia Tomarchio.
Mrs. Leotta had been a resident of Fulton for most of her life.
She owned and operated Mary’s Beauty Shop in Fulton for several years.
Mrs. Leotta was a former member of the Italian American Club, Fulton, and a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Fulton.
Mrs. Leotta was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was the heart of her family.
Mrs. Leotta was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Leotta, in 1988; and her sister, Frances Figiera, in 2003.
She is survived by her children: John (Nancy) Leotta of Fulton and Virginia Leotta of Fulton; her sister, Angie Farfaglia of Fulton; three grandsons: Matthew, Michael and Robert; her great-granddaughters, Abigail and Sophia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Schultz.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
