OSWEGO, NY – Mary P. Schrader, 93, of Oswego, died on Thursday December 7, 2017, at home peacefully with her family by her side.
Mrs. Schrader was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Ersilio and Victoria (Molinari) Polega.
She was a secretary and stenographer at St. Regis, Oswego, and was the clerk for the Oswego Library for many years.
Mrs. Schrader was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.
Mrs. Schrader is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, John Schrader of Oswego; and their children, Karen Schrader of Delmar, NY, Susan (George) Schrader-Rank of Pattersonville, NY, and Richard (Diane) Schrader of Oswego.
In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Amalea, Nicholas, Ariana, Aubree and Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Schrader was predeceased by her brother, Augustine Polega.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Oswego, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
There will be no calling hours.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oswego County Salvation, or the Oswego County Humane Society.
