Peter J. Tambroni

Peter J. Tambroni, 78, of Fulton died Thursday March 13, 2025 at home after a brief illness.

Mr. Tambroni was born in Fulton the son of the late Perry and Catherine (Mangione) Tambroni. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He later received his master’s degree in education, and begin to work for the Fulton City School District, at G. Ray Bodley High School, where he taught social studies, before transitioning to teaching business and computer science classes. He also coached boys bowling, girls’ softball, and chess club. Mr. Tambroni worked as an educator and coach for over 35 years, before retiring. He was the president of Future Business Leader of America, for many years. Mr. Tambroni always enjoyed going for quite car rides with his wife Kathleen.

Mr. Tambroni is survived by his wife of 56 years Kathleen Tambroni, and their sons Peter J. Tambroni II of Illinois, John P. (Don Krom) Tambroni of Troy, NY, and his sister Gloria Lorenz of NC.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 4:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 W. 2^nd St. Fulton, NY.

Private Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
