Richard Crandall, 63

FULTON, NY – Richard Crandall, 63, of Volney, NY, passed away peacefully Wednesday April 26, 2017, surrounded by his wife and family at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, after a short illness.

He was born in Black Creek, NY.

Mr. Crandall previously resided in Syracuse, NY, and has been a resident of Volney for the last four years.

He worked as a machine operator with Sterilogic, Mattydale, NY.

Mr. Crandall enjoyed watching and feeding hummingbirds.

His true labor of love along with his wife was to dedicate their lives to raising their children and grandchildren in a loving home.

He was predeceased by his father and step-mother, Harold and Barbara Crandall.

Mr. Crandall is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lorrline Crandall of Volney; five children: Jimmy Davis of Pennsylvania, Shirley Davis, Natisha Crandall, Regina Crandall and Ricky Crandall Jr., all of Fulton; and several brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. May 7 at the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department, 48 Prospect St. Central Square.

Burial will be held privately.
