FULTON – Robert A. Desgrosiellier, 77, of Fulton died Wednesday May 21, 2025, in Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
Bob was born in Utica, NY, the son of the late Adolphe “Rudy” and Mary Rose (Pugh) Desgrosiellier, and he has been a resident of Fulton for most of his life. He worked for Armstrong and later Interface Performance Materials, Fulton until his retirement in 2013. Bob enjoyed a good round of golf, going hunting, and men’s softball.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Phyllis Desgrosiellier in 1997, and his brothers Richard, Gary, Michael, step grandson Sammy Young, and nephew Danny Hubbard.
Bob is survived by his children Carol Peters of Hannibal, David Desgrosiellier of NC, stepchildren Doug (Cynthia) Young of Malta, NY; Denny (Arlene) Young of Fair Haven; Dan (Connie) Young of Fisher’s Landing; Donna (Ernie Baum) Shue of Fulton; Debra (Dean) Burridge of Hannibal; and David (Tom) Young of CA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Rusty Peters, Adison, Nicholas, Robert Desgrosiellier, 14 stepgrandchilren 15 step great grandchildren; and his siblings Eugene (Jane) Desgrosiellier, Kathy (Ron) Hubbard, sister-in-law Cathy Desgrosiellier, and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St S., Fulton.
