OSWEGO, NY – Ronald D. Monroe, 81, of Watertown and for the past two years Utica, died Monday March 27, 2017, in St. Luke’s University, Utica.
He was born in Wisconsin, the son of the late Norbert and Marvel Monroe.
He served in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1965.
He was the owner and operator of Monroe Construction in Watertown for many years.
He enjoyed golfing.
Mr. Monroe is survived by his wife, Susan Monroe; and children, Rhonda, Roxanne, Ryan and Ronald Monroe.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Bailey, Kayleigh, Rilee, Emmalei, Bradlie, Jansen, Troy, Nora and Mason.
Services and burial will be private.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
