FULTON – December 16, 2025, Ronald S. Duda Sr.,86; of Fulton, NY passed suddenly, yet peacefully surrounded by his wife and family at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse after enduring a recent illness.
Mr. Duda was born in Fulton, NY to the late Stanley and Catherine (Kawalec) Duda. He remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. Ron retired from Nestle/Westreco, Fulton where he worked as a Machinist in the Research and Development Department. He was an accomplished carpenter, millwright and woodworker. Mr. Duda successfully managed three apartment buildings using his skills for many years. He and his wife enjoyed travelling and they have spent 22 years happily wintering at The Villages, FL. Mr. Duda was a past communicant of St. Michael’s Church, Fulton and was a current member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Baldwinsville, NY.
He was pre-deceased by his sisters: Jeanette Libera and Linda Liadka.
Mr. Duda is survived by his wife of 65 years: Virginia Duda of Fulton, their children: Debora Kimberly of Liverpool, NY; Ronald (Carrie) Duda Jr. of Fulton, NY; Daniel (Nancy) Duda of MS., and Mary Kay (Doug) Davis of Liverpool, NY, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St., Fulton.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Baldwinsville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ben Schrantz.
Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
