Rose Fabrizi, 95

OSWEGO, NY – Rose Fabrizi, 95, a longtime resident of Oswego, died Tuesday April 28, 2015, in Greenville, SC, with her family at her side.

Mrs. Fabrizi was born in Chittenango, the daughter of the late Angelo and Jessie (Maggone) Cretaro.

Mrs. Fabrizi was a former employee of Perry’s Flowerland and a former cook at Canale’s Restaurant.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Oswego.

Mrs. Fabrizi was predeceased by her husband, Albert Fabrizi, in 2001.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Terry) Fabrizi of South Carolina and Nancy (John) Roberts of South Carolina; her sisters, Caroline Smith of Pompey, NY, and Mary Santore of Oswego; and her grandchildren, Jay (Danielle) Fabrizi, Scott (Katie) Roberts and Erin (Ted) Keysor.

In addition, Mrs. Fabrizi has six great-grandchildren, Mason Fabrizi, Ethan Roberts, Seth Roberts, Henry Keysor, Rose Keysor and George Keysor.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Edna Vona, Antoinette Magari, Michael and Frank Cretaro.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 10 a.m. from the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Entombment will be in All Saints’ Mausoleum.
