OSWEGO, NY – Sarah Canale, 89, of Oswego, died Thursday December 24, 2015, in St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
She worked for General Electric in Syracuse, before going to work for NYS as a secretary of the psychiatric department at University Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Canale, in 2003.
Mrs. Canale is survived by her loving children: Christopher Canale of Oswego and Catherine (Mitchell) Smith of East Syracuse; and her beloved grandchildren: Michael and Christina Smith.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego, and 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Oswego, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial will in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
Calling hours will be conducted Tuesday 9 to 10 a.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, NY 13126.
