Scott Purce

OSWEGO – June 22, 2023, Scott K. Purce, 64, of Fair Haven died Thursday, June 22, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.

Scott was born in Oswego the son of late William and Beverly (Heagerty) Purce. Scott worked at Nine Miles I and II as a nuclear guard and retired 2018 as a warehouse clerk. He enjoyed boating, especially on Fair Haven Bay. He was a strong supporter of the Oswego State Hockey Team, and he loved the Boston Bruins. Scott was an avid hunter and was most proud to have earned a spot in the New York State Big Buck Club.

Scott was predeceased by his brother Gary Purce.

Scott is survived by his loving family, his wife of 33 years Terrie Purce of Fair Haven, daughters Sarah Purce of Fair Haven, Cortnie Purce of Baldwinsville, and his grandson Owen Purce of Fair Haven. He is also survived by his siblings Bonnie Bullard of Oswego; Melanie (Mark) Davis of Oswego; Doug (Cindy) Purce of Syracuse; Tracey Dougherty of Oswego; Tim (Amy) Purce of Oswego, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling Hours will be Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4^th. St. Oswego.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM in Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling.
