Shari I. Bednarek, 66; of Fulton, NY passed unexpectedly at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
She was born in Oswego, NY and she has been a resident of Fulton, NY for most of her life. Mrs. Bednarek previously worked at Strupplers, Fulton as a cashier and she also transitioned upon the business sale to become a Tops cashier. Shari enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family pets. She loved her little Yorkie Ruby and her parrots: Mellow, Echo, and Tiki all of whom kept her very busy.
Shari was pre-deceased by her father Robert L. Weaver, and her family is sure she was met at the Rainbow Bridge by her patiently waiting Yorkie Abbie.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years: Dennis S. Bednarek of Fulton, their son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Ashley Bednarek of Oswego, NY; her mother: Norma Weaver of Fulton, 5 siblings: Toni Martin of TN; Teri Weaver of Liverpool, NY; Tammy Dodge of Fulton, NY; Don Weaver of NC and Steve Weaver of Oswego, NY; and her beloved 3 grandchildren: Cameron, Carson and Caleigh Bednarek and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held from 3:00 to 4:30 PM Wednesday, April 3rd; in the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton followed by a Funeral at 4:30 PM in the funeral home with Rev. James Sokolowski officiating.
Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to a local Animal Shelter.
