FULTON, NY – Sharon Goss Malcolm, 72, of Pittsford, NY, died Friday June 7, 2013, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, after a short illness.
She was born in Fulton to the late Elmer and Virginia Goss.
Mrs. Malcolm was a former resident of Fulton and she had been residing in Pittsford for 43 years.
Mrs. Malcolm worked for the Genesee Hospital, Rochester, and Highland Hospital in Rochester as a program analyst.
She enjoyed traveling and going out to dinner and to the movies with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years Roger Malcolm of Pittsford, NY; aunt, Arlene Sikes Okoniewski of Florida; cousins: Joseph (Janet) Sczupak of Fulton and Kathy (Wayne) Fisher of Glens Falls, NY, Paul “Rusty” Okoniewski of Florida, James Okoniewski of Virginia, Lee Okoniewski of Fulton, Joy Okoniewski of Illinois, Dr. Lisa Okoniewski of Pennsylvania and Karen Okoniewski of Buffalo, NY.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Sugar Funeral Home and 11:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Stephen Wirkes.
Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be conducted 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
