Stanley George O’Bryan

GRANBY, NY – Stanley George O’Bryan, 72; of Granby, New York, passed away at Oswego Hospital after a short illness.

George was born in Martville, New York, to the late Richard and Bertha (Libbey) O’Bryan. He has been a lifetime resident of the Granby area. Mr. O’Bryan was a United States Veteran having served in the Army from 1969-1971. He retired as a Warehouse Group Leader from Birdseye, Fulton after 39 years of service. In his free time George enjoyed working on his tractor and cars.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Jeannette O’Bryan in 2013, their son Timothy O’Bryan, and his siblings: Evelyn and Francis O’Bryan.

Mr. O’Bryan is survived by his children: Heather (Frank) Jackson of North Carolina, Peggy O’Bryan of North Carolina, and Gary O’Bryan of Granby, New York, siblings: Mark O’Bryan, Mickey O’Bryan, and Yvonne Fillingham; 1 grandson: Alex Jackson of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal, New York. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
