Stanley Stevens

FULTON – April 11, 2026, Stanley Stevens, 90; of Fulton, NY passed away peacefully Saturday, April 11th, 2026; at his home after a long illness.

Mr. Stevens was born in Oswego, NY to the late Alvin and Mary (Fagnan) Stevens.  He has been a resident of Fulton, NY since 1953 and enjoyed wintering in Texas during his later years.  He was initially raised in New Haven, NY and was a graduate of Mexico High School.  Mr. Stevens was honorably discharged in 1962 from the United States Air Force having finished his 6-year reservist obligation with the Air National Guard, Hancock, Syracuse where he was an Airman 2nd Class with the 108th AC&W Flight.  He retired from Jefferson Smurfit as a Production Planner after 41 years of employment.  Mr. Stevens enjoyed collecting antique cars and was an avid fan of men’s sports.  He was also a past Fulton Booster Club Member.

Mr. Stevens was pre-deceased by his wife of 61 years Judith Stevens in 2015, his beloved travelling companion Florence Gardner in 2025 and his brother:  William Stevens.

He is survived by his three children:  Greg Stevens of Iowa, Doug (Dranee) of Fulton and Brad (Laura) Stevens of Fulton3 sisters: Karen Webster of Oswego, Madonna Rusaw of Oswego, and LuAnn Robertson of VA, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 18th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Fulton Polish Home, Fulton.

There will be no Calling Hours.

Burial for Stanley and his wife Judith at Mexico Village Cemetery, Mexico, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
