Steven Z. Zedler, 75

FULTON, NY – Steven Z. Zedler, 75, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday March 7, 2018, at Morningstar Residential Care, Oswego.

He was born in Warsaw, Poland, to the late Felix and Halina (Pielaszewska) Zedler.

Mr. Zedler had been a resident of Syracuse, Columbia, Tennessee, and Fulton.

He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Syracuse.

Mr. Zedler trained and later retired in 1988 as a tool and die laborer for General Motors, Syracuse.

In 2001, he retired from Saturn, Tenn.

Mr. Zedler was a past union officer at GM with the
United Auto Workers.

He enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Mr. Zedler is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Christine and James F. Brannan of Fulton; four nieces and nephews: James Patrick Brannan of Ithaca, NY, Michael (Anastasia) Brannan of Jakarta, Indonesia, Daniel Brannan of Fulton and Susan (Quentin) Brannan Cole; and two great-nieces: Halina B. Cole and Harlow Grace Cole.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary, Hannibal, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be held privately.
