FULTON, NY – Teresa M. Patane, 90, of Hannibal, NY, died Monday October 13, 2014, at Seneca Hill Manor, Volney.
She was born in Hannibal to the late Fred and Ellen (Gray) Malone.
Mrs. Patane has remained a lifetime resident of Hannibal.
She was past employed with the United States Postal Service and Sam Patane Insurance Office where she worked as a secretary.
Mrs. Patane was a past member of the Altar Rosary with Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Hannibal, and she was an avid volunteer with A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton, the Hannibal Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, the A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and RSVP.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Patane; son, Ronald Patane; siblings: Eugene Malone, Charles Malone, Philip Malone, Mary Patane, William Malone, John Malone, Francis Malone and Helen Wiltsie.
She is survived by her son, Frederick Patane of Hannibal; siblings: Paul Malone of Granby, Maurice Malone of Hannibal, Agnes LaClair of Liverpool, NY; grandchildren: Kara, Alena and Devon; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Hannibal.
Burial will be held in Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal.
Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
