MARTVILLE – Therese “Tia” R. Colvin, 57; of Martville, NY passed after courageously fighting cancer for several years in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.
Tia was born in Syracuse, NY and has been a resident of Martville, NY for 11 years. She loved crafting, but Tia most enjoyed spending time in the comfort of her home being a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
Tia was pre-deceased by her parents Roger and June (Collins) McLaughlin. Therese is survived by her husband of 21 years Robert Colvin of Martville, NY; their children: Jessica Rodriguez of Fulton, NY and Jacob Colvin of Martville, NY; her sister and brother-in-law: Deirdre Davis and Mark Garry of Liverpool, NY; her mother-in-law and father-in-law: John Soscia and Loretta Filkins of Auburn, NY and their grandchildren: Indica and Mason; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Therese’s wishes all services and burial will be held privately. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home Inc., 147 W. 4th St., Oswego, NY.
