Thomas W. Poore

FULTON – Thomas W. Poore, 82, of Fulton died Friday, October 11, 2024, peacefully at home after a short illness.

He was born in Washington, DC the son of the late John and Viola (Shorter) Poore. Thomas retired from the Federal Government working with the Department of Agriculture in Washington. He served in the United States Army from 1963 until 1965. Thomas enjoyed traveling the world, visiting family, gardening, and cooking.

He is survived by his husband of 58 years Craig Fish of Fulton, his sister-in- law Corrine Matash of PA, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Craig especially wishes to thank John (and his now-deceased wife Betty) Finocchiaro and their family including Katie, Sarah, Laura, and all their spouses, for their unwavering friendship and acceptance.

Following Thomas’s wishes, there will be no services.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
