William Austin Salvage

FULTON – William Austin Salvage, 98, of Fulton, NY, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at Bishop’s Commons, Oswego, NY.

Born and raised in Fulton, NY, he was a graduate of Fulton High School, lifetime farmer and an employee of Container Corporation of America, later known as Jefferson Smurfit Corp., Fulton. Mr. Salvage enjoyed farming and playing cards with family and friends. He particularly enjoyed playing pinochle.

William was predeceased by his parents, William and Marion Salvage, his brothers Joseph, Victor, and Lawrence Salvage, and his sisters Marie DeCarlo, Lillian Malone, and Rita Patane.

He is survived by his sisters Theresa Caltabiano of Fulton and Helen Sheldon of Fulton, and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service with Burial will be held privately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. There will be no calling hours.

The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY has care of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Central NY. 441 W. Kirkpatrick St. Syracuse, NY 13204.
